OCHO Teams Win Brackets in San Diego

OCHO Futsal’s U11 and U10 boys teams traveled to San Diego this past weekend to compete in 619 Futsal’s Spring Fever Tournament. Both teams faced strong local competition and came away as bracket champions.
The OCHO B15 (U11) group finished the weekend with 23 goals scored and 8 conceded, showing consistency on both sides of the ball. The B16 (U10) team recorded 32 goals for and 11 against, maintaining a strong attacking presence throughout the tournament.
The event, hosted by 619 Futsal, served as an important tune-up as league play starts back up in March.
Head Coach Daniel Ortega shared his thoughts following the weekend:
“Both teams worked really hard this week and put on good performances. This tournament came at the right time as we look to clinch a playoff spot in the SCFA League. We’re continuing to improve and refine our system. Thank you to 619 for hosting the event, we look forward to the next one.”
With the SCFA League resuming in March, both teams will look to carry this momentum into league play.
