LAS VEGAS, NV — OCHO Futsal Club traveled four teams to Las Vegas for the 2026 US Futsal National Championship, bringing another group of OCHO players, coaches, and families together for one of the biggest events on the futsal calendar. This year’s National Championship had a different feel. For the first time, the tournament was held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and the venue, presentation, and overall environment made the event feel elevated from start to finish.

For OCHO, we wanted to take that experience one step further.

A New Layer to the OCHO Travel Experience

Beyond the games themselves, OCHO added another layer to this year’s trip with our very own OCHO Media Day. Our teams had the opportunity to get in front of the camera, create content, and experience another side of what it means to represent OCHO Futsal on the road. As the club continues to grow, we want our travel experiences to be about more than just the competition. We want our players to create memories, build relationships, and feel like they are part of something bigger.

OCHO on the Court

All four OCHO teams competed hard throughout the tournament and gave everything they had in every game.

The B2015 group showed their creativity and willingness to adapt throughout the tournament. One of the biggest moments came in their final match against Rose City Futsal, where the group rolled out the fifth man late in the game to push for a result and ultimately steal a couple of points. The B2011s came out firing, opening their tournament with a dominant 4–0 victory. The group set the tone early and showed the quality and competitiveness that OCHO teams continue to bring to the national stage. The G2016s put together strong efforts throughout the tournament. Despite falling short in each of their games, the group continued to compete and fight until the final whistle. There are plenty of lessons to take from the experience, and the group will look to build on those moments moving forward. Finally, the OCHO Femenil team delivered the club's strongest overall performance of the tournament. The group finished with two wins and two draws, going undefeated throughout the event. Despite not tasting defeat, the results were unfortunately not enough to advance out of the group stage. Still, the performance was a major positive for the program and another step forward for OCHO Femenil.

More than the Results

National tournaments are always about more than the final standings.

For OCHO, this trip was another opportunity to put our players in a competitive environment, challenge them against teams from across the country, and continue building the culture of our club.

There were wins, difficult moments, lessons, and plenty of memories made along the way.

Coach Daniel reflected on the weekend:

“I'm so grateful for everyone's support and effort at this year's national tournament. We added another layer to the travel experience, and I hope everyone enjoyed it. As far as futsal goes, we're not going anywhere. We're going to continue to improve, get better, and be back.”

OCHO's Future

The National Championship marks another chapter in OCHO Futsal's continued growth, but it certainly isn't the end of the journey.

OCHO is currently taking a small break following the tournament, with plans to return to training August 17th.
